01Who answers for this policy
This policy describes the Reformas Control app for Android (package reformas.control.app) and this website (reformascontrolapp.biz).
There is a single contact address for any question about the app or about privacy: [email protected].
02Data the app handles
The app only works with what you enter. All of it is kept in the app’s storage, on your phone:
- Renovations: name, an optional label for the home, dates and spending limit.
- Rooms: measurements, openings (doors and windows) and notes.
- Jobs: titles, status, priority, dates, steps, costs and notes (you type them, or they come from the bundled templates).
- Materials: names, quantities, prices, shops and amounts paid.
- Other costs you want to note.
- Tradespeople: name or business, trade, phone, email and notes; their quotes and the record of work done and payments. You type them by hand.
- Photos of rooms and jobs, which you pick in the Android photo picker.
- Settings: language, VAT mode and rate, and working days.
The amounts are your own budget notes. The app handles no payment data, bank accounts or cards.
03Other people’s details
If you keep the details of a painter, a plumber or any other tradesperson, you are keeping another person’s personal data (name, phone, email). You note them for personal, household use, and the app keeps them on your phone only: it does not read your address book or send them anywhere.
The PDF of the renovation includes those details only if you switch on the “Tradespeople” section, which is off by default. If you switch it on, share it only with those who need to see them.
Tapping a tradesperson’s phone number or email opens your phone’s own dialler or email app with that number or address. The app does not read or send messages.
04Where it is kept
On the device only: the data, in the app’s storage; the photos, as copies in the app’s private folder. Those copies are re-encoded without location or camera data.
Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are switched off for the app. That is why the data is not copied to Google Drive and does not move to a new phone automatically.
05What leaves the phone
Nothing, unless you export a PDF and share it through Android’s share menu. The published version of the app has no internet permission and contains no network code.
The PDF is created on the phone and contains the summary of the renovation and the sections you choose: rooms and areas, budget, materials, schedule and, if you switch it on, tradespeople with their contact details, quotes and payments. It is handed to the app you pick; from then on that app’s terms apply.
There is no other export, no import and no backup file.
06Third parties
None. The app includes no analytics, advertising, crash reporting, sign-in, maps or cloud services. No third-party component receives data.
07Permissions
The app asks for no permission while you use it. It declares no camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, media, notification or phone permission.
Photos are chosen with the system photo picker, which gives the app only the pictures you select.
08Retention and deletion
The data stays on your phone until you delete it. You can delete single items, a whole renovation, or everything at once in More → Settings → Delete all data. Uninstalling the app also deletes all of it.
Because nothing is held on a server, there is nothing we can access, correct or delete for you. If you write to [email protected] with a request about your data, we will answer with these same instructions.
09Children, ads and payments
The app is not directed at children and has no content meant for them; it is intended for adults.
It has no ads, purchases, subscriptions or user account.
10What the app is not
Reformas Control is a planner. It is not a source of building regulations, permit requirements, safety rules or tax advice: it only reminds you to check with your town hall and a professional.
11This website
This site uses no cookies, analytics or advertising scripts, and has no forms. Fonts and images are served from the site itself.
If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include in the message, and we use them to answer you.
12Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes anything described here, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
